![]() I know the story has a thousand more meanings than that, and that it was about people and ideas and connections and about how we are all on different paths, and how that is okay because sometimes those paths cross. She didn’t want anyone to find her - she just wanted to leave. He thought she wanted him to find her, but she didn’t. Paper Towns was a story about a boy trying to find a girl who disappeared. I liked the characters (especially Ben, although he was not exactly realistic in a lot of ways) and the story kept me turning the pages. It wasn’t my favorite and I am okay not reading anything else by him, but it was a good read. Seeing the trailer for “The Fault in Our Stars” put me over the edge on the “I have zero desire to read John Green’s stuff” train. This was my “stretch/challenge” book because I have heard so much about his novels and could not get interested in the idea of any of them.
